Help is on hand when you need it.
In the event of an emergency, the wearer can easily raise an alarm to their support network by simply pressing the Companion watch SOS button.
Once the SOS button is pressed, alerts and a voice call are automatically triggered to the watch wearer's support network. Once the alert is acknowledged, the support network can call the watch directly to speak to the wearer. This ensures easy contact even if the wearer isn’t near a phone.
How it works...
Holding down the SOS button for 2 seconds displays an SOS animation on the watch, which can be cancelled if activated in error.
SOS alerts are sent to the support network either by email (showing the GPS location map), an automated voice call or via the app.
The watch wearer and support contact will be able to speak to each other using the watch speaker and microphone.
If the alert isn’t answered, the watch wearer can leave a voice message for their support network directly from the watch.
